Day 1: 14 Days of Valentine’s Crafts
I’ve always been impartial to Valentine’s Day. It was great as a kid (especially in elementary school), the candy, the cards, the not doing school work at school and did I mention the candy. But as I got older it became more of an afterthought holiday. Like oops I forgot so here are some chocolate’s and overpriced flowers. Which to …
New Free Pattern
I’ve added a new pattern to the free patterns page. It’s a lovely infinity scarf/cowl. Here are some images. I hope you enjoy knitting it! Ashley
WIP Wednesdays
I only have three new WIPs to show today. The first is a plum infinity scarf. I plan on alternating between a diamond lace pattern and stockinette stitch. I started with a provisional crochet cast on and plan on either grafting or using a three needle bind off to seam up the finished scarf, which ever is most appropriate and …
Tools Every Knitter Needs
Aside from yarn and needles, there are other tools that every knitter needs in order to finish their project. A New Year

They were both Christmas gifts and one pair I finished on Christmas morning (so I had no time to photograph them). I’ve been …

WIPs and Banana Bread
I haven’t knitted too much since I finished the Entrelac Baby Blanket. I had let everything else fall to the side for this blanket including enormous amounts of housework. But slowly I’m getting back to my cleaning and knitting groove. First I started knitting this cowl/infinity scarf. I love the simplicity of this 4 row repeat pattern; knit 3 rows, …
Entrelac Baby Blanket
I spent all of November knitting this lovely baby blanket (and the first week of December). There were no other WIPs, no other FOs. The only time I picked up my needles was for this blanket. Isn’t she lovely? Now I’ve been able to work on a few other items, mostly Christmas gifts. Pictures coming soon. Happy Knitting, Ashley
