I wrote a while back on how to join yarn together and I did use that method for quite some time. See the blog post here (and ps. I now always have to join yarn together since I rarely make one skein projects). It’s not a horrible way to join yarn and it barely leaves a knot (you won’t even notice it’s there — unless you’re the one who makes it) and there’s nothing wrong with it until I watched a video on Facebook. And now the older method just doesn’t do it for me anymore.
I’m loving this new method so much and it’s easy, very very easy. And the bonus — there are NO ends to weave in. Which is probably why I love it so darn much. So enough of me jabbering on, here’s a video on joining yarn with no ends to weave in.
I’m sure in time I’ll find another method I prefer as I seem to find new knitting and crochet tricks all the time. But for now, this is it! This is by far my favourite method to join yarn.
What’s your favourite method?
Happy Knitting,
Ashley
