After much testing I have finally came up with a pattern that I like and think would look great as the body of the leg warmers and boot cuffs that I am trying to design. What do you think?
At the moment I am completely obsessed with cables. They are simple to create and yet they look classy and put together. At first I did have a hard time with the cable needle. I mean it just hangs either in the front or in the back of your work while you knit a few stitches. And yes, a few times the stitches slipped right off the cabled needle and in a frenzy of trying to save my work I unraveled some stitches. But, as with everything, practice really does help. It helps to boost your comfort and confidence. So take out your favourite needles and some scrap yarn and practice working with cables. Practice until it becomes second natures and then tackle the cabled project you were too scared/intimidated/nervous to start. I swear you will be happy that you did 🙂
